Suzanne Hunt is the co-founder and principal director of TerraSynX
With over 30 years’ experience in upstream oil & gas and mining, Suzanne brings a rare blend of executive insight and operational depth. She has held multiple General Manager roles spanning more than 50 global assets and has led large geoscience and engineering teams to deliver high-value outcomes across the resource sector.
Proven ability to align all stakeholders around sustainability, value optimisation and growth—while keeping uncertainty, risk, and compliance front of mind. Ensuring best-practice engagement and optimal outcomes through clear communication, strategic focus, and stakeholder trust.

Bridging Sectors Our Team

Our leadership team brings together over 80 years of global experience across mining, oil & gas, and clean energy—onshore, offshore, and underground. From leading major operational turnarounds to pioneering energy storage and decarbonisation projects, the team has held senior roles across more than 50 assets globally, including leadership positions at Beach Energy, Santos, ExxonMobil, Westside and Origin Energy and in large-scale mining operations in mining at BHP, OZ Minerals, IGO Ltd, Westgold and McMahon. Their collective expertise spans mine start-ups, asset optimisation, renewable energy innovation, complex stakeholder and JV management, and multi-billion-dollar P&L accountability. With backgrounds in mining engineering, transformation leadership, and clean energy science, they combine deep technical knowledge with strategic execution. Each brings a unique lens—operational, commercial, and community—underpinned by a shared commitment to sustainability, innovation, and high-performance outcomes. Together, they bridge sectors, scale ideas, and deliver results that align with the energy and resource challenges of the future.
